Striker Matt Groves signed a one year deal with club in July
2009. Groves earned his first professional contract with Bristol
Rovers after working his way through their centre of excellence.
He made his only appearance for the club as a substitute against
Rushden & Diamonds during the 2nd Round of the FA Cup in
December 2007.
He spent the final few months of the 2007/08 season on loan
at Chippenham Town, while he moved to Tiverton Town on loan
for the start of the 08/09 campaign. He joined Mangotsfield
United as a loanee for three months in December 2008, but when
he returned to Bristol Rovers he was released from his contract.
He ended last season playing for Weston-Super-Mare. |
