Hector Mackie is a young, dominating midfielder who can play
on the left wing, or centrally. He joins the Terras after spending
last season with Blue Square South side, St Albans City.
Mackie started his career with Waltham Forest before going
on to have a couple of trial matches for Tottenham Hotspur's
Under 18 side. He spent the 2006/07 season with Stevenage
Borough while being sent out on loan to Welling United, Cambridge
City, and Diss Town.
During Hector's two years at St Albans he started a total
of eighteen games, while making thirteen substitute appearances.
He finished the last campaign on loan at Potters Bar Town
of the Isthmian League.
Manager Matty Hale describes Mackie as "powerful",
and a "very useful addition".
