Profile
Dean Grubb was the first signing under the Matty Hale regime
at the Wessex Stadium, joining in May 2009. The former Bristol
City trainee joins up with his former team mate from Weston,
and is sure to bring a wealth of talent to the Terras midfield.
He is described as strong and pacey, while possessing good football
quality. In 2007, Championship side Burnley were drawn to the
attention of Grubb, and he played 90 minutes in a Reserve League
Fixture for the Clarets. While coming through the ranks at Weston,
Grubb was selected to play for the Welsh youth team at both
under 19 and under 21 level.
In total he has represented his nation six times. In March 2009
Grubb made the switch to Gloucester City and helped them with
their promotion from the British Gas League Premier through
the play-off system. |
