King: Terras need to push on
By Adam Summers

Saturday 7th January 2012

BRENDON King believes the next month will prove a telling period in the Terras’ renaissance this season.

The Weymouth boss has been at the forefront of a huge turnaround in fortunes at the Bob Lucas Stadium over the past couple of months but he insists the club must keep pushing on.

King told Echosport: “This is a massive month and by the end of it we will know where we are.

“It is all about how we push on now but at the same time we have to be realistic and sensible.

“If we lose a couple in the league, go out of the FA Trophy and attendances drop then we are not going to keep spending out because it would not be worth it to be fair.

“However, if we get through in the trophy, continue pushing towards the play-offs and people keep coming through the gates then that will be a different matter entirely.

“We will just have to see how it goes and that is why it is really important we push on now as a club and keep the momentum going.”
