PORTSMOUTH reserve-team striker Ryan Gazet Du Chattelier has signed a three-month loan deal at Weymouth and is expected to make his debut in next Wednesday’s pre-season friendly against Exeter City.

The 18-year-old Australian impressed Terras’ boss Matty Hale last season when he scored against Team Bath in a 3-0 win while on loan at Bognor Regis Town.

Hale said: “We are delighted that Ryan is coming down and I am sure he will provide a lot of firepower up front for us.

“He tore Team Bath apart last season and he is a powerful forward that will give us a bit of a presence. He has played at a decent level and I am sure he will be a success here.

“He is scheduled to play on Wednesday against Exeter when we will be looking to start working with the squad that will begin the forthcoming season.”

The Terras 2-2 with Longwell Green on Friday night. Matt Cooper and Carl Preston were on the mark for Matty Hale's men. Hale said: "Longwell gave us a hard test but it was a different type of football from what we can expect in the Blue Square South. "Carl Preston looked particularly dangerous and we're looking to do something with him over the weekend."
