Terras sack Hollins

Wednesday 3rd December 2008

MANAGER John Hollins has been sacked by Weymouth Football Club.

The former Chelsea and Arsenal man was put on gardening leave last month while the club investigated a number of alleged breaches of contract.

The allegations included failing to turn up for training and approaching fellow Blue Square Premier side Woking in search of employment.

Hollins has also been accused of failing to discipline players and not keeping within the club's strict playing budget.

Following a disciplinary hearing held last week, which was attended by Hollins, a PFA representative and Terras officials, the boss has now been dismissed.
