Hill's men refreshed for Hayes

GARRY Hill believes Weymouth won't suffer a FA Cup hangover
when they return to Conference South action tomorrow.
Victory at high-flying Hayes (3pm) could send the Terras
third in the table, with three games in hand on leaders St
Albans City.
After pushing Nottingham Forest all the way in last Monday's
televised first round replay, boss Hill insists no ill-effects
of that huge effort will be on show at Church Road.
He said: "My players gave everything they had against
Forest but unfortunately it just wasn't to be.
"But that replay is all history now and we've got to
get on with what we always said was our number one priority
- gaining promotion from Conference South.
"The players have all been extremely positive since
Monday night and are now refreshed and ready to kick on in
the league.
"We're in a nice position at the moment and we need
to build on our fifth place between now and Christmas.
"We have games in hand on the teams above so the incentive
is there to keep getting good results and I'm certain we'll
be on top form tomorrow.
"We have a lot of big games in the next few weeks and
it is important that we keep grinding out those results.
"I'm confident the players can get the job done because
the team-spirit at the club at the moment is immense.
"Over the last few months we've become an extremely
close-knit unit and credit to the players for making that
happen.
"That's why although I'm always looking to strengthen,
any player I bring in has to be absolutely right for this
football club both on and off the pitch. Any new player cannot
disrupt our team spirit because it would disrupt everything
we've worked so hard to achieve."
Striker Kirk Jackson is included in Hill's squad travelling
to Middlesex after shrugging off a head injury suffered against
Forest.
Fellow frontman Craig O'Connor is also available after being
cup-tied in the replay.
The only injury surrounds striker Daniel Webb (knee) who
joins winger Adam Wilde (ankle) on the Terras treatment table.
"Adam's month loan at Eastleigh doesn't officially expire
until next week," said Hill, "but he has been back
with us to receive treatment on his injury."
