did you know
The 11th century saw William the Conqueror build a fort in Stafford, and he didn't stop there. The surrounding area was dotted with Norman forts and strongholds. This was all down to the resistance of the local people against the Normans.

directions and car parking

Stafford Rangers - (200 miles) - Approx travel time 3hrs 40mins.

Directions

Leave Weymouth and head towards the M5 (via Taunton is properly the best option).

Stay on the M5 through Birmingham onto the M6. Exit the M6 at jct 14. (Note this exit is past Stafford, but using this exit saves you going through the town centre).

Take the first exit off the roundabout (heading for Uttoxeter A518 & A34). After about half a mile, go straight over the next 2 roundabouts, still heading towards Uttoxeter, RAF Stafford & the University.

Take the third exit on the right (the first two are entrances into a housing estate).

Carry on this road for about a mile, over the old railway bridge and follow it around to the left at the bottom The Rangers ground is on the right opposite the Car dealership.

Car Parking

There is only a very small car park at the ground. Opposite the ground is an Industrial Estate with ample parking.
