Weymouth FC Away Shirt 2017/18

Weymouth Football Club would like to offer supporters the opportunity to be a part of the Terras away kit for the seasons 2017/18 & 2018/19. Yes, that's right, for £10 you can have your name embedded within the fabric of the material, similar to how the Jubilee Clock appears on the current home kit. The lettering will be similar in size to that seen on 'Class of 2016' type garments.

The design is currently being worked on but the shirt will be white, WFC crest over the left breast and a claret stripe top to bottom through the badge. The exact trim and finer details will be published prior to any order being placed. Normal range of Joma sizes will be available.

If you would like to take up this offer, then please contact the club office during office hours or the club shop on match days. The offer will be made available online for Exiles. Payment must be made with your order, there will be no obligation to purchase a shirt. If you do not like the final design once it is publicised you will have the opportunity to claim a full refund and have your name removed. Once the order has been placed, this option will longer be available. The closing date for applications will be our final home game on Saturday 22 April 2017.

The offer is limited to individuals only, no business or company names will be accepted. Names in memoriam will be accepted. Weymouth FC reserve the right to refuse any names it considers unacceptable or inappropriate.

Merthyr Weekender.

Weymouth FC Travel Club would like to invite supporters to join them on a weekend trip to Wales in March.

They will be travelling to Merthyr at 1pm (TBC) on Friday March 10 and staying at the Castle Hotel in the centre of the town.

This is, of course, timed to coincide with the Terras' match at Merthyr Town on Saturday March 11. The coach will return to Weymouth after the game.

The cost will be 75 per person sharing a twin room or 91 per person for single occupancy. This includes breakfast and coach travel.

If you would like to join them for the trip, please let Liz Bell know on, express your interest on this thread or call the office on 01305 785558. Alternatively, call in to the office on a match day.

To confirm your booking, you will need to pay a 30 deposit by Friday, 24 February at the latest.

Please speak to Liz if you would like to arrange to pay in installments.

New system is a positive for boss Jason Matthews

TERRAS’ chief Jason Matthews hinted that he could stick with playing a 3-5-2 formation in the coming weeks, if it suits the available personnel within his squad.

The Weymouth player-manager, who hinted at trying a range of systems throughout the latter stages of the campaign last week, saw his side deliver a 3-2 win over Kettering Town on Saturday after setting up with wing-backs either side of the three-man defence.
