As the Trust has nine places available and the number of validated
candidates exceeds this, an election is necessary.

Eligible Trust members will receive their voting packs week commencing
12^th May 2008.

Hustings are planned to be held at the Wessex Stadium on Thursday 22^nd
May 2008 at 7.30pm

Members of the Terras Trust steering committee handed over a cheque for £700 to former Terras stars Andy Mason and Ian Hutchinson at half time during the recent match against Altrincham.

The money was raised from the proceeds of the Golden Goal competition and will be used to fund the Weymouth Youth Academy teams that Ian & Andy are coaching.

Acting Trust Chairman Mark Golsby said "We were asked to take over the Golden Goal competition and when Ian & Andy set up the academy we decided to help out, one of the Trust's objectives is to promote and support coaching schemes to develop the footballing skills of young people and so it seemed an ideal opportunity.

We would like to thank all of the fans who have taken part in the Golden Goal competition who have made this donation possible"
